Our guest speaker at our Holiday Bash is Robert “Fly Navarro” who has spent more than 30 years immersed in sportfishing across six continents, building a career that spans media, tournament direction, and conservation advocacy. He is the founder of FlyZone, a sportfishing media and tournament technology brand, and hosts The FlyZone Podcast, where he brings anglers, industry leaders, and conservationists together to talk about the sport he’s dedicated his life to details can be found at the following link https://flyzone.ai/about . As Tournament Director of the Blue Marlin World Cup, Fly oversees one of the most prestigious events in offshore billfishing. His influence extends beyond the water and into federal policy — he serves on NOAA’s Highly Migratory Species advisory board and the ICCAT advisory panel, helping shape the future of fisheries management on a national and international scale. He is also the Global Ambassador for Maldives Sport Fishing Tourism, connecting anglers worldwide with one of the sport’s premier destinations. Fly is the author of Best Catch 2020 and the creator of a children’s book series featuring “Captain Fly,” a cartoon version of himself designed to introduce young readers to the wonders of ocean conservation and sportfishing. Whether he’s behind the mic, on the tournament committee boat, or advising on fisheries policy, Fly Navarro’s mission remains the same: growing the sport of fishing while protecting the waters that make it possible.

On December 17th the doors opening at 6 pm to mingle, enjoy the cash bar and purchase raffle tickets for the tackle and equipment donated by our many sponsors. Introduction and presentation will start at 7 pm, followed by a buffet dinner, cash bar and ending with our raffle.
